So on KS Update 14, SB announced the stretch goals we'll be able to vote on to be included at launch time. Just for the fun of it I created this poll so we know what are the kinship's favorite feature! Mine are super clear for me, and yours?!

I half/half regret voting for VoIP... On one side the others seem so appealing, yet i cant get over the idea of being under attack and demoralising the enemy by religious chants we create

Wards and digging/burying for me. Tunneling was a very close third though. Natural disasters sound nice in theory, but in practice I suspect that eventually we'll have enough other issues to contend with to not miss them.

1. Wards of the state - Necessary for my character background! And I just really like the idea.

2. Mounted Combat - War Trison fighting beside you much less cool than riding one into battle.

3. Sensory Maps - I was really excited about this feature, I think it would be cool for hunters/thieves/assassins to be really quiet and listen for stuff.

4. Social activities - Gambling and other games in taverns is good rp/community stuff.

5. Tunnels - As was mentioned, this would make making your own dungeons more interesting and add a lot to that feature in general.

6. Natural Disasters - The amount of immersion this adds is awesome, unfortunately it's low on the list because of the amount of effort vs. reward.

7. Heirlooms - I don't think this feature is necessary, or particularly exciting, it would be cool to see in game, because an item that's been in your family for generations being made important through game mechanics instead of just rp? That's pretty cool, but I think they would have to incorporate it into the soulbound engine too, like someone stole an heirloom and if you go on an epic quest to retrieve it, that's gotta be some story points.

8. Integrated voip - meh

Ideally all of this gets done because the kickstarter gets insanely over funded

Somehow I missed the mounted combat option in the poll, though I read it in the announcement. One less vote for digging/burying and one more for mounted combat!

Definitely mounted combat, wards of the state, and tunneling would be awesome.

Gambling and Heirloom items.

Gambling, because I think that would be a fun element to introduce to taverns and other areas. People will make bets all the time, having a system for it and enforcing it? Even better.

Heirloom items have the potential to be really intriguing. Having an item attuned to your soul, that over the course of lifetimes gains incremental steps of power and/or can only work for your soul would be interesting. It could be established that eventually someone may be able to steal it from you and have it linked to their soul, but again it would take time. I see lots of possibilities there.

I like the tunneling most. The whole idea of creating intricate tunnel systems and bases, heck, we could theoretically build our home into a mountain! I think that's the one with the most promise. I also think mounted combat and natural disasters are good concepts. Makes the game that much harder when there are natural disasters but so much more realistic and mounted combat is just awesome. They should make taming wild animals a thing! And then jobs as beastmasters!!!

Ya...I voted for gambling and black dye tubs in the original vote...(Old UO player who remembers dye tubs and wants them in our game!)

Now I've kind of migrated to tunneling! The awesomeness of being able to create hiding places for valuables and yourself is pretty hard to deny. I hope it makes it into game...but sadly the dollars are not moving very fast these last few days!

It didn't help that a king rescinded their pledge, of course, but yeah. Things seem to have slowed since the stretch goals were released. Some of that may have been that people didn't like that the goals chosen weren't immediately aligned with the player vote.

I think they could get more money if they would show us what exactly we could buy with our IP. I added $100 to get enough IP to buy land and crafting stuffs...but would probably add more if I knew that I could buy more crafting tables and stuff for the settlement.

Hopefully we can just buy things later after kickstarter finishes.

I agree...sent them a message a few days ago asking if they can post this before KS ends because honestly we dont really know what we are paying for when buying IP. Maybe it's not even worthy it to buy ip if what we want is lands. Village tokens seem to be more appropriate but then again we don't know how they will work.

Yeah I don't know how comprehensive the list will be, but there are a few graphics on the Kickstarter main campaign site, if you keep scrolling down. It appears to be an early list, and I wouldn't be surprised if more is added as we go.
