Just wondering, as I have no clue which skill-set I'm gonna begin with. Who is aiming for which Profession?

Thinking Mason, Cartographer, Merchant, Scribe or Carpenter. Depends if I up to Merchant lvl I guess.

Cannot fit all the professions in the poll

May I suggest that you join the smith jobs, join leather worker with Taylor and add carpenter, shipwright and beekeeper? Also glass blower if there is room. And militia...people may want to dedicate to guard and protect

I plan to do a few things, so it's hard to say. I picked the one thing that's on there that I'll probably be doing with my plan change, which is scribe.

I'm working on my inn & meadhall as well.

With my focus being combat, I plan to do a lot of exploring assisting the cartographers and gatherers trek out into the wilderness safely. As far as profession though, I figure hunting will be a good fit since it seems to have some crossover with what I'll already be doing.

I've put weaponsmithing as my choice for the poll. We'll see how accurate that comes to be. It usually interests me in MMO's, but I'll be combat focused most of the time here. May end up that I'm more useful acting as another hunter/cartographer/navigator.

As i know the ale hall will be one of the first building erected, I'm curious about a brew master. Brewer should totally make this list of important professions.

Lo there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning.

I know my Meadhall will have a brewer, but I need to talk to... Alisyah about merging. Brewists will be important!

I pick hunting since its basically a all rounder isnt it, for people who like attacking, guarding etc, for someone like my character which i am trying to focus on recon, defence. so when i think of hunter i expect it to affect my agility, marksmanship, stamina etc which will aid in multiple scenarios. i would pick guarding etc but when i think about it for recon i need to track and understand the environment so i think hunting really is the best all rounder for people like me.

I'll be exploring the area a bit as well as practicing combat skills, but my actual "profession" will be smithing of some sort... Weaponsmith, armorsmith, blacksmith, or some combination of the 3 (i'm guessing skills from 1 area of smithing will bleed over a bit to other areas).

I'm actually surprised we don't have more smiths. Usually there's an inordinate amount of weapon smiths.

I'm looking at a few different profession like smith, leather-working, and fletcher. The ones that I'm really looking foreword to however are hunting, herbalist, and alchemy

I picked farming because I felt it's the first and most basic skill I should learn. But likely they'll change long term.
